McHenry County authorities continue to examine allegations of homicide in an Illinois nursing home.

WOODSTOCK, Ill. (AP) - Authorities have exhumed the body of a third person who died last year at a northern Illinois nursing home currently under investigation.McHenry County Coroner Marlene Lantz says the body of 91-year-old Raymond Jorgensen was exhumed Saturday and autopsy samples were sent to the Illinois State Police.
McHenry County State’s Attorney Louis Bianchi says the exhumation is the last planned in the investigation of Woodstock Residence nursing home in Woodstock.
The bodies of 2 other former residents were exhumed earlier this year.
According to published reports citing unnamed sources, the inquiry involves allegations that a former employee of the 115-bed nursing and rehabilitation center in Woodstock gave several residents fatal doses of morphine.
